Published 30 September 2026 · 6 min read · Clean EMI Editorial
Most delays in a loan application come from missing or mismatched paperwork, not from the bank. This master checklist collects what PSU banks typically ask for across every loan type on this portal. Requirements vary by bank and by case, so treat it as the core set and expect the branch to ask for more in some situations.

Tips to avoid delays
Make sure names, dates of birth and addresses match across your PAN, Aadhaar and bank records. Keep clear scans ready, and gather property papers early, as these take the longest to verify. Start with the loan page that fits you, such as Home Loan, and see the profile of Punjab & Sind Bank.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need original documents or copies?
Usually you submit copies and the bank verifies against originals at the branch, but practice varies, so keep originals available.
Are the requirements the same at every PSU bank?
The core set is similar, but each bank has its own list and may ask for more depending on your case.
What if my name is spelt differently across documents?
Get it corrected or supported by an affidavit or gazette notification before applying, as mismatches commonly cause delays.
Can I upload documents on Clean EMI?
Yes, you can upload documents on the portal when you apply, and our team reviews them before forwarding your file.
